I know I don't say this often enough, but sometimes words left unsaid are the most important of all. So just because I'm not saying it doesn't mean I'm not thinking it, or feeling it. Without you in my life I would be a completely different person, and that's not a good thing. You are my absolute best friend. Our lives are intertwined. I just want you to know that I love you. I love you so much and you have no idea what you mean to me. And while I'm at it... thank you

 it's funny how sometimes life can bleep out;
like a faulty telephone connection in the rain
you get so caught up in big things that you
don't realize how extremely complex and
beautiful the things in between the seams are.
everything can be lost. the funny part is,
you wont even realize it when it's gone.

Your best friend listens to you when you don't make sense, stands by you when people call you names, argues when you're not right at all, trusts you when she knows you'll mess up. When you cry she's there helping you out, and that's how you know she's truly your best friend.

&& laugh at me, and hug me when i get annoying
who writes sappy love letters to me. . .
a boy with deep eyes that can see through my insecruties
who sometimes wears baseball caps and lets me wear his too
who knows my favorite color and song
who will call me by my full name, first name, and nick names
a boy who will kiss me and tell me i am pretty
who i am comfortable around, even when i cry
who will sneak up behind me, to wrap his arms around my waist
who compliments me and plays with my hair
who wears cologne that i can smell when he hugs me
&& remember hours later when im lying in bed thinking about him
who tells me he will hold me when im scared
&& who will simply be mine.

In a world of comparison and conformity, make your own statement. Honor your own truth. Have the courage to be yourself, risk speaking your own thoughts and claiming your emotions. Share your vulnerabilities, tears, doubts, and insecurities. Let others experience the real you. Have the courage to be yourself and realize that you are a wonderful person.

when our only worries were that recess was too short,

only skinned knees brought tears,
boys were yucky and had cooties
and goodbyes meant just until tomorrow

youre always there when i need you never leaving my side always there to lean on and& dry the tears i cry i can always talk to you . you never seem to mind . your voice is so honest and& gentle your words so honest and& kind i thought id never meet someone as special as you are youre my best friend in the whole wide world youre my shooting star.
